A downloadable game for Windows

Hello, and welcome to the team, new recruit! All of us here at Developer's Nightmare QA Team are very excited to gain a new friend and team member!! We hope you enjoy your stay.

What's the mission?

Simple! Each member gets a couple of games from many different developers. You have to extensively test the games given to you and find as many bugs as possible. When you get a bug so bad it closes the game, you get to move on to the next! And don't worry, you don't have to report anything to anyone. Our state-of-the-art operating system has a system where it records your screen and sends it to upper management.

What's the catch?

We at Developer's Nightmare QA Team have a very strict policy about interacting with the rest of your team. We believe that encouraging any form of communication between team members will really help make the work environment safer and more friendly. If you pass someone, try striking up a conversation. If someone asks or tells you something, please fell free to respond to them in a respectable and to-the-point manner.

What if I need help?

You might have trouble finding any major bugs and thus being unable to progress. That's why we made "Penper", your friendly desktop companion that will analyze what you're currently doing or playing and help think of a solution to your problem. It doesn't have any information you don't, however. You have to discover as many game mechanics as possible for Penper to have a higher chance coming up with something.

Game info

Developer's Nightmare QA Team is a sit-and-survive/puzzle horror game where you have to find "bugs" in three short games while you also try to fend off your co-workers by answering their questions.

To meet the "typical itch horror game" quota, the game contains some flashing lights, sudden noises and depictions of violence, so there's your warning if you're really sensitive to any of those.

The controls in the mini-games are mostly arrow keys and space/z

Install instructions

It's a game made in Gamemaker. You just download the zip, extract it and play. Running it for the first time MIGHT trigger a false positive. I can't do much about that...
